  Sichuan Xinhua Bookstore Group Co., Ltd. was established.

  

• 2003

  The province-wide Xinhua Bookstore system underwent a comprehensive restructuring, and the Group was renamed “Sichuan Xinhua Distribution Group Co., Ltd.”

  

• 2005

  As the primary sponsor, the Group established China’s first joint-stock company in the publishing and distribution industry structured in accordance with listed company standards — Sichuan Xinhua Wenxuan Chain Co., Ltd.

  

• 2007

  Sichuan Xinhua Wenxuan Chain Co., Ltd. became the first domestic book distribution enterprise to be listed on the H-share market in Hong Kong.

  

• 2010

  Sichuan Xinhua Wenxuan Chain Co., Ltd. successfully integrated 15 publishing entities under Sichuan Publishing Group, formally completing the publishing and distribution industry chain, and was renamed Wenxuan Publishing & Media Co., Ltd.

  

• 2016

  Wenxuan Publishing & Media Co., Ltd. successfully returned to the A-share market, becoming the first publishing and media enterprise with a dual “A+H” listing in both the A-share and H-share markets.

  

• 2022

  Wenxuan released its 2021 annual report, becoming the first cultural enterprise in Sichuan Province to exceed RMB 10 billion in total assets, net assets, and operating revenue.

  

• 2026

  Guangming Daily and Economic Daily jointly released the “2026 · Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises” list. Sichuan Xinhua Publishing & Distribution Group and its subsidiary Wenxuan have been selected a total of 15 times, including the most recent 10 consecutive years.
